ABOUT ME

Cory Mosco is currently in his final year of study in Architectural Engineering at Penn State University. He will graduate in May 2017, with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, with a focus in Construction. Throughout his time at Penn State, Cory has been involved in several student organizations. He is a member of the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE), Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (S:PACE), and the Student Chapter of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA). This year, he will serve as the Vice-President of S:PACE and President of MCAA.

Over the past few years Mr. Mosco has held several different employment opportunities. Starting in 2009, Cory worked for his family in the construction business as a laborer. When not assisting on construction projects, he worked as a farm hand on family land maintaining the property, caring for the animals, and running equipment. He still enjoys this employment opportunity on school breaks. In the Summer of 2015 Cory interned with Lighthouse Electric from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. With Lighthouse he worked on Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, assisting the Superintendent and Project Manager on the oversite of the hospital’s new 10-story patient tower. This past summer, Cory interned with Benchmark Construction Company from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With Benchmark Cory had the opportunity to assist Project Managers on six separate projects that included demolition, renovation, and new construction.

Outside of school and work, Cory enjoys hunting, fishing, and loving every day. He values his time with family and friends, and enjoys spending time with his horse Duke. Cory also enjoys country music and going to concerts with the whole Star Lake crew from back home. Whenever he has free time, you can always find him enjoying the outdoors.
